The University of Toledo hosted its third annual Music Fest in front of the Memorial Fieldhouse Sept. 14, 2012. UT President Lloyd Jacobs and Larry Burns, vice president for external affairs, greeted the crowd and got the event started.
Mascots from UT and the Toledo Walleye were on hand early to entertain children. The older crowd played games such as cornhole, or bags, and darts during the opening acts. UT Football players, cheerleaders and the dance team warmed up the crowd with a giant pep rally.
The line up of musical groups included: The Dumb Easies, HotSauce, K’Jon, Alexander Zonjic and Jeff Lorber, Tyler Hilton, Gloriana and Bowling for Soup. The music began at 3 p.m. and played until after midnight.
