Gina Todd
Student Producer Gina, the Student Producer for UT:10 News, is a Junior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting, and a minor in Digital Arts and Visual Communication. She is the Founder and President of the Beta Theta Chapter of Zeta Phi Eta, a National Professional Fraternity in the Communication Arts and Sciences. She is also a member of CHAARG and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Gina has previously worked as a News/Production Intern for WTVG 13abc, and a New Media Intern for UT Communications. After taking a service trip to Les Cayes, Haiti, she has developed a passion for travel. Although she is not set on what she would like to do after graduation, she hopes that passion can be incorporated into her future career.

Brandan Carnes
Sports Producer / Show Director Brandan Carnes, the Sports Producer and Show Director for UT:10 News, is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting. This is his second semester working with UT:10 News, and he has also worked with the Department of Communication, including work on BCSN's "Overtime". Brandan also spent the last two football seasons as commentator for WXUT at all Rocket Football's home games before becoming UT:10's Sports Producer.

Nadine Armoush
Student Reporter Nadine is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcast Journalism. She is a returning UT:10 News veteran, having been a part of the Spring 2013 semester news team. She is an original member and Treasurer of Zeta Phi Eta, a national professional communication fraternity. During the summer, Nadine was a paid Production Intern for WGTE- PBS Channel 30, while also interning at WTOL Channel 11. While being a reporter for UT:10, Nadine also works for ESPN as Production Personnel during football games in the area. She is bilingual in English and Arabic and has traveled and lived abroad for a couple of years. After graduating in December, Nadine hopes to fulfill her dream in becoming a Reporter/Anchor and eventually have her own talk show.

Fayth Atkins
Student Reporter Fayth Atkins is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting, and is a very active member on campus. She currently holds the position of President of the Beta Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and is a member of the empowering women groups 4AW and BSU. She enjoys all aspects of live television and ultimately hopes to work in entertainment news one day.

David is a Junior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting. He is twenty years old and was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He loves movies, sports, and music, and plans on taking Broadcasting to a whole new level.

Chris is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting. He transferred to the University of Toledo in the fall semester of 2013 after graduating from Owens Community College. After his upcoming graduation in December, he plans on continuing his career in broadcasting as a Producer for Raycom Media.

Guyton Mathews
Student Reporter Guyton Mathews IV is a Senior double major in Political Science and Communication with a focus in Broadcast Journalism. He has had three internships, and was a Fall Fellow for President Obama's campaign in 2012. His goal is to become a Multimedia Journalist for a major networking station focusing in either politics, entertainment news, or sports. |
Darrien McCoy
Student Reporter Darrien McCoy is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting. From Cincinnati, Ohio, he has experience working with the Communication Department as a Camera operator for football, basketball, and volleyball. He was also a Technical Director during the 2013-14 basketball seasons. Darrien plans on interning at NBC 24 in the fall, and after graduating he would like to relocate and work for ESPN.

Lydia Sims
Student Reporter Lydia Sims is a Senior double major in Communication and Theatre with a focus in Broadcasting and Performance/Acting. She has participated in many theatre productions and plays put on by the Theatre Department at UT, both as an Actress and a Stage Manager. She has also worked alongside Buckeye CableSystem and HART Inc. in commercials. When she is not in front of the camera, she is volunteering - her favorite places being the Boys and Girls Club, where she helps kids with homework and after-school crafts, and the Alzheimer Association, performing skits with the patients to regain their fondest memories and health.
Lydia is also a member of Zeta Phi Eta, a National Professional Fraternity in the Communication Arts and Sciences. This is her first time as a Reporter for UT:10 News, but she hopes this opportunity will open more doors. After graduation, she plans to continue her passion in Broadcasting and in Theatre. |
Cody Smith
Student Reporter Cody is a Sophomore majoring in Communication and minoring in Business. He is the President of the Men's Ultimate Disc Club and a member of H20 Church on campus. This upcoming summer, he hopes to get a local internship at a news station for sports broadcasting. His dream job would be to either work at ESPN or become the broadcaster for the Cincinnati Reds.

Desmond Smith
Student Reporter Desmond Smith is a Senior Communication major with a focus in Broadcasting from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is an active member of The Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and the current President of the Omega Epsilon chapter at UT. He is set to graduate in May 2015, but plans on furthering his education and obtaining his Master's Degree.
