Following the Ferguson grand jury decision not to file charges against a police officer who shot and killed an unarmed youth, students on campus stage a march to protest police violence in Missouri. A complaint has been filed against UTMC for the use of animals in physician training; Fayth Atkins more information and a reaction from UT administrators. The UT police department adds a K-9 unit to the force to help detect explosives at events on campus. A student in the College of Business and Innovation has started a business to help people achieve a healthier lifestyle.
