Posted: November 7, 2020 DETROIT - Protesters in Detroit crowd outside the TCF Center, where mail-in ballots for Wayne County are being counted. This comes after President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that he will be suing Michigan and two other states to contest mail-in ballot counting. Under Michigan law it is legal, to count mail-in ballots that were post marked before November third. Mail-in ballots in Michigan should be accurately tabulated no later than Friday evening. |

Posted: September 22, 2020 TOLEDO, Ohio - The folk band Oliver Hazard took the stage Thursday night for the first concert ever held on Fifth Third Field. Fans were asked to wear masks, social distance and sit on the field in their assigned concert pod. Fans could also choose a socially distanced seat in the stands. The show was sold out and around 700 fans were in attendance. There have not yet been any more shows scheduled on Fifth Third Field, but many fans expressed interest in more concerts being held in the future.

Posted: September 22, 2020 TOLEDO, Ohio - As 2020 has brought school closures and unprecedented changes in the ways children are taught, technology has become more important than ever. Since March, schools have moved online and kids across America have had to adjust to remote learning. However, not only the children have been along for a wild ride, as it has been quite an adjustment for teachers as well. The technological logistics of moving a classroom completely online is extremely complicated and it has been a lot of work for teachers. Districts in our area are all working diligently to prepare staff and students, and to come up with the best, while safest, plan for educating students.
