Kristen Rosendale
Student Producer Kristen Rosendale, the student producer for UT:10 News, is a Senior double major in Spanish and Communication with a focus in broadcasting. She is from Dayton, Ohio and has held two internship positions; one as a News Intern for WDTN-TV in Dayton, Ohio during the summer of 2012 and the other as a Production Intern for WGTE Public Media in Toledo, Ohio during the Spring semester of 2013. She has also had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain and is a 4th year member of the Phi Alpha chapter of Delta Delta Delta. Upon graduation in May 2014, Kristen plans to pursue a career as a News or Sports reporter.

Brandan Carnes
Student Reporter Brandan Carnes is a Junior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting. In adition to being a UT:10 News reporter, he also serves in the control room as Technical Director for the live production. Alongside his work with UT:10, Brandan does production work for the Department of Communication, including working on BCSN's "Overtime." He is also a commentator at WXUT for all home Rocket football games. In his spare time he enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and coaching wrestling at Whitmer High School.

Jessica Lemieux
Student Reporter Jessica Lemieux is a Sophomore from Tigard, Oregon. She is a double major in Communication and Business. Jessica is also on the Toledo Rocket Softball team. After college, she hopes to pursue a career in sports broadcasting or sports marketing.

Roderick Houpe
Student Reporter Roderick Houpe is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in broadcasting. Coming from Columbus, Ohio, Roderick always wanted to be the household name from the city where not too many household names are known. Roderick has a radio show called The Comedy Corner that broadcasts on UT’s radio station WXUT. He is a self-described “jack of all trades” who likes working in all forms of media. Roderick is an avid sports fan, particularly MMA, and he hopes to work for any network to help spotlight that sport in the U.S. In his free time, Roderick likes writing, helping younger UT students, hanging out with friends & family, listening to music, and performing or listening to open mic shows.

Brittney Lucas
Student Reporter Brittney Lucas is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in broadcasting. She has interned at WGTE PBS and also works with the Department of Communication's Media Services division, primarily as a camera operator for sporting events and live webcasts on campus. After graduation, Brittney hopes to get a job in entertainment.

Evan Madden
Student Reporter Evan Fitzpatrick Madden is a Junior studying Broadcast Journalism and Creative Writing. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Evan was on the swim team at Bedford High School for four years, and was captain for two of them. Evan was a foreign exchange student his sophomore year, studying abroad at John Paul College in Rotorua, New Zealand.

Deena Mitchell
Student Reporter Deena Mitchell is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Public Relations. Her passions include reading, writing, art, and snowboarding. She works as an intern at the Toledo Botanical Garden and is a full time student. Deena is from the Cleveland area and she plans on moving back to her hometown after graduating. Her dream job is to work as an event planner and public relations specialist for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Mike Smith
Student Reporter Mike Smith is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in Public Relations. Mike is an active member of the student run public relations firm ThePRocket. He is also a member of PRSSA, as well as Lambda Pi Eta and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Upon graduation, he looks forward to finding a rewarding and challenging position in the communication industry. During his free time he enjoys attending concerts, playing softball, and reading fiction novels.

Alexa-Marie Pitt
Student Reporter Alexa-Marie Pitt is a Junior majoring in Communication with a focus in Broadcasting. She also plays tennis for the UT Women's Varsity tennis team. She is excited about her first time as a reporter for UT:10 News. After graduation, Alexa-Marie plans to pursue a career in sports broadcasting and hopes to one day become an anchor for the Tennis Channel.

Frank Vajcner
Student Reporter Frank is a Senior majoring in Communication with a focus in broadcasting. His dream is to go into sports broadcasting, covering his favorite sport; hockey, even if that means taking his talents to Canada to work for CBC or TSN. He also writes about his favorite team, the Detroit Red Wings, for RedWings101.com. In his spare time, Frank enjoys watching the Red Wings and spending time with friends.
